Villa Borgo Lapis & Castle Belaj Wedding
Giorgia & Mario began their wedding day at Villa Borgo Lapis, in relaxed morning atmosphere surrounded with main of honor and best men.
In the beautiful Venetian garden of Villa Borgo Lapis the first look has happened; intimate and romantic. After spending the morning apart, seeing each other for the first time that day brought a quiet pause before the celebrations began.
Church ceremony took place in a small Istrian village, Vižinada. With their families and closest people around them, Giorgia and Mario officially began their life together as a married couple.
We have photographed the day as it unfolded — the anticipation during the preparations, the small interactions between family and friends, the ceremony, and everything that happened in between.
From there, the day continued at Castle Belaj. As the light softened towards sunset, we took some time with the two of them among the vineyards and old stone walls. Away from the larger group, there was finally a little space to breathe, take it all in and simply be together. With our unobtrusive and photojournalistic approach we framed photographs and a wedding film that tell the story as it actually felt — through people, atmosphere, movement and the details that made this Istrian wedding their own.
